Loan Amortisation Schedule Calculator
Compare a loan that fully amortises within its term.
Model the regular payment and additional balance due at a loan's stated maturity. The balloon is a contract input or financing scenario, not a guaranteed future vehicle value.
A balloon loan leaves an agreed amount to be cleared at maturity. This tool can find the regular payment from a known balloon, find the balloon from a known payment, or use a longer amortization term to calculate payments before an earlier maturity.
The rate is nominal annually and is divided by 12. A known balloon is discounted along with the regular payments to match the opening principal.
When solving for the balloon, interest is added and the selected payment is deducted each month. Longer-amortization mode first calculates the regular payment over that longer term.
The final cash payment includes both the last regular instalment and the remaining balloon. Total paid includes every regular instalment plus the additional residual.
Sample inputs demonstrate the method. They are not a forecast or product offer.
The example starts with €1,200 at zero interest, ten payments and a €200 balloon. The regular payments must clear €1,000, giving €100 each. The final date therefore requires €100 plus €200, or €300; total paid is €1,200.

A low regular payment can leave a substantial final obligation. If it is below interest, unpaid interest can increase the residual under this mathematical scenario.
No future sale price, refinancing approval or lender permission is assumed. A scenario that clears the balance before the requested balloon date is rejected rather than displaying a negative balloon.
Here it is additional to it. Both the residual after the last regular payment and the complete final payment are shown.
Yes. Select the longer-amortization mode and enter both periods. The loan balance after the last regular payment at the shorter maturity is the balloon.
