Monthly Budget and 50/30/20 Calculator
Organise the resulting costs within a monthly spending plan.
Build an annual and total study budget from course fees, living costs and confirmed funding. Supply actual fees and accommodation estimates; the tool does not determine grant eligibility.
An education budget combines costs with different time bases: annual course fees, monthly accommodation and living expenses, and annual confirmed funding. The calculator aligns those inputs over the selected study duration without determining fee status or grant eligibility.
Add monthly accommodation and other living costs, then multiply by the number of budgeted months. This keeps annual fees from being multiplied by months accidentally.
Annual tuition and course fees are added once per study year. Confirmed annual funding then reduces the amount that must be covered from other resources.
Multiply the annual net budget by the chosen years. This is a repeated-cost scenario, not an automatic forecast of rising tuition or rent.
Sample inputs demonstrate the method. They are not a forecast or product offer.
The first example adds 1,000 in fees to ten months of accommodation and living costs totalling 800 per month. Deducting confirmed funding of 2,000 from the 9,000 gross budget leaves a one-year study budget of 7,000.

The total indicates a funding requirement under your inputs. It does not mean every expense is payable upfront or that funding arrives at the same time as bills.
Use actual quotes and confirmed support when available, while keeping uncertain amounts identifiable as assumptions. The calculator does not look up an institution, course or student entitlement.
Estimate an education budget from fees, accommodation, everyday spending and confirmed funding over the years you plan to study.
Use actual course fees and accommodation quotes. This tool does not determine grant eligibility or assume fees remain unchanged.
